So much for all the talk of Gonzalez going to St. Louis. Perhaps the Dodgers are purposely targeting the Cardinals wish-list (after coming to an agreement with Jason Schmidt yesterday). The veteran corner outfielder has signed a one year, $7 million deal.

Seems a bit much for a guy who probably won't play near 150 games next year. But they need some offense and I guess Gonzalez provides some pop although he's a serious doubles hitter guy.
