Game three of this series will happen tomorrow evening. The New York Mets will look to sweep the Dodgers in Los Angeles. The pitching match-up will see RHP Steve Trachsel take on RHP Greg Maddux. The last time Maddux faced the Mets in the playoffs it was the 1999 NLCS when he started two games, won one and had a 1.93 ERA.
Trachsel will be pitching on nearly two weeks rest. So will the Dodgers be able to exploit him and push the series back into game four? Or will the Mets have a sweep and brush the Dodgers away?
