MLB Trade Rumors brought up a rumor that the Angels and Chicago Whitesox may be talking about a deal involving 1B Paul Konerko. "Some names being bandied about include Ervin Santana, Howie Kendrick, and Chone Figgins. Of course, all three would not be in the deal."

Konerko is a solid bat and a good team leader...would he be a good acquisition?

Konerko is a very strong bat. They need another to accompany Vlad. He would work out very well there.
