| Matthews sprained ankle According to the Associated Press, "Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim center fielder Gary Matthews Jr. left the game against the Baltimore Orioles on Tuesday with a sprained right ankle." It's actually good news - Matthews said he initially thought the ankle was broken, and he'd miss the playoffs. As is, he should be re-evaluated in a couple of days.  Re: Matthews sprained ankle In my fantasy league, I lost Glaus after one at bat for the week, then lost Matthews after Tuesday. It's weekly so I can't make changes, but I'm ahead 6-4, one more day and the categories are close. Hope I can hold on. |
