Garrett Anderson RBI record

Angels OF Garrett Anderson set a team record yesterday by knocking in a run in his 11th straight game, breaking a consecutive game RBI mark that had been shared by Fred Lynn and Wally Joyner. Oddly enough, he also holds franchise records for most RBI in a game (10, set on Aug. 21 against the Yankees) and most career RBI (1,199 as of Friday morning). Who knew this guy was this good at driving runs in?

Cool Re: Garrett Anderson RBI record

For the last couple of year, Anderson was just mediocre. It made me wonder about whether he was on steroids, but for whatever reason, he's back to his old ways.

Any fantasy baseball owner for the past decade... ...but yeah, a very quiet 1,200 RBI's...

on a side note...Lynn and Wally World are two of my favorite players of all-time...
