Cool Angels beat Yanks in 10

The firsts just keep on coming for Ryan Budde.

Three weeks after making his major league debut, Budde doubled in the winning run in the 10th inning and the Los Angeles Angels beat the New York Yankees 7-6 Monday night, improving their major league-leading home record to 41-17.

Ryn Budde is a catcher. He was batting .091 before his game winning hit in the 10th last night. He typically is just a backup catcher, I don't have a lot of details on him.

Cano lost this one singlehandedly. He turned a ground ball into a double by nonchalanting it and then hit inot a double play with two on and none out. Once Henn comes in the game, you know it's a lost cause.

Garrett Anderson knocked in ten runs last night against New York. Anderson, who has never even hit the ball against Boston, then proceeded to complain that it took him 13 years to get a curtain call in Anaheim. Perhaps if he didn't play the game as if he was being forced to he would more appreciated.

Any true longtime Angels fan will be forever grateful to Garrett Anderson for his clutch hitting that won the only World Series Title in franchise history. He has played his entire career with the Angels and has more hits than any Angel in franchise history. He is one of my favorites, easily.
