I think they should make it 5 outs instead of 10. The HR derby is just too long.

They should come up with some other competitions.....Throwing accuracy, a team obstacle course, whatever....But watching 4 hours of guys hitting homers puts me to sleep.

The only other player I can think of that swings as hard as Vlad might be Gary Sheffield. In the old days Reggie Jackson comes to mind.

I remember those guys. Gorman Thomas played on the Brewers team that knocked off my Angels in our 2nd ever playoff series in 1982. Angels blew a 2 games to none lead in a best of 5 series. Us Angels fans suffered a long time before breaking through in 2002. At least we can take solace in our 2-0 record in playoff series against the Yankees!
