The Angels and Yankees played a 13-inning thriller yesterday. The game featured an excellent battle between pitchers John Lackey and Roger Clemens, but ended when New York first baseman Miguel Cairo committed a pair of errors in the final inning, allowing L.A. to come a way with a 2-1 victory. Lackey struck out 11 in the game, but earned a no-decision after leaving in the 8th inning. Anyone catch this thriller?

I was in Anaheim on vacation and happened to see this game on TV my last day in town. They almost blew this in the bottom of the 13th with an error in the OF that put the tying run on base. Thankfully the Angels managed to hang on and get the win.
