| Brand ruptures Achilles tendon Not sure you could envision a worse headline if your a Clippers fan. According to the Associated Press, " Los Angeles Clippers forward Elton Brand ruptured his left Achilles' tendon on Friday during his daily workout... The 28-year-old will undergo surgery but plans for the operation have not been finalized yet, the Clippers said." I'm not medical expert and it doesn't say for sure, but I'd imagine this means no Elton Brand for L.A. in 2007-08.

| Re: Brand ruptures Achilles tendon WOW...you said it, can't imagine a worse headline for Clippers fans. I guess a positive outlook is if he can heal and rehab quickly, perhaps he could come back at the end of the season. |
