| Clippers vs. Spurs The Clippers will look to follow-up Saturday night's record breaking defensive effort against Indiana by battling to slow the streaking 41-18 San Antonio Spurs (7:30pm opening tip) tonight at Staples Center. At 29-30, Los Angeles is now tied with Denver for seventh in the West one and a half games up on New Orleans/Oklahoma City for eighth and just three behind the Lakers in the loss column for sixth. All of that looks promising until you consider the task at hand! L.A. will likely be without the veteran floor leadership of Sam Cassell (strained right groin) again and while it may have added 28 year old lead guard Jason Hart (off waivers from Sacramento) by game time it will be seriously challenged to notch it's fifth consecutive home court triumph against a Spurs squad that's won eight games in a row by an average of nearly 19 points per game.
