Elton Brand had 25 points and 10 rebounds, Tim Thomas also scored 25 and the Los Angeles Clippers snapped a four-game home losing streak with a 100-77 victory over the undermanned Boston Celtics on Wednesday night.

The winning margin was the largest by the Clippers' franchise against Boston. They won for only the second time in nine games overall despite the absence of point guard Sam Cassell, who sat out due to a chronic case of plantar fasciitis in his left heel that has forced him to miss four of the last eight games and limited him to just 58 minutes of playing time during that stretch.
