| Clippers' biggest win ever vs. Celtics Elton Brand had 25 points and 10 rebounds, Tim Thomas also scored 25 and the Los Angeles Clippers snapped a four-game home losing streak with a 100-77 victory over the undermanned Boston Celtics on Wednesday night. The winning margin was the largest by the Clippers' franchise against Boston. They won for only the second time in nine games overall despite the absence of point guard Sam Cassell, who sat out due to a chronic case of plantar fasciitis in his left heel that has forced him to miss four of the last eight games and limited him to just 58 minutes of playing time during that stretch. Clippers are an up-and-coming team, despite being the butt of many jokes as a perennial loser back when I was growing up. As a Celtics fan, I should note. So it's kind of a tough pill to swallow, seeling the Clips absolutely take Boston behind the woodshed like this, you know? The times they are a-changin'...
