At this point the season is all but over.Time for Big Blue fans to focus on the upcoming baseball season and the Nba Finals.My how the mighty have fallen!I myself could not be more disappointed.
I have been a di-hard UK fan for 25 yrs now and this is about as low as we have been in a very long time.From 1992-93' until last season Kentucky basketball was the cream of the crop,nobody was more feared or Respected.We as a fan base have been spoiled and rightfully so.This is a school that has the most wins all time. The school with so many conference titles ,so many championships, so many great coaches. Where did they go find this guy? He cant even get us in the tournament! he has talent:Patrick Patterson,Jodie Meeks,Perry Stevenson and a nice group of young talent ,Any have way decent coach could have gotten alot more out of this team. Heck Roy Williams would have taken them to the final four.Coach Rick Pitno took our (Unforgetables) deep into the tournament and that team had 20%talent & 80%heart. So to say the talent is down is just a cop-out anyone can win with tons of talent.

I have faith in the man, I just wish the rest of the fans will give him time.... for pete's sake it's just his second season... he has some good talent, but he is still gettin his own recruits in. I'll tell it like it is.... The Cats didn't deserve to be in the tournament last year, but they made it.... they were on target to go to the dance this year, but they flubbed it when it counted. The only gripe I have is 3 teams with the same record as Kentucky, and 1 team with one less win got in the tournament, now if these teams got in, why didn't Kentucky.

I'm 27 years old and have been bleeding blue since the day I was born.. and will bleed blue til the day I die. I've been through good times and bad. Things will turn around. Billy G. just needs time. I gave Tubby time to see what he could do once he got his own recruits in, and I'll do the same with Gillispie. Gillispie has turned two teams around before, the difference this time, it's UK not some other school. There is no other head coach more scrutinized than the head coach of the Kentucky Wildcats. Just give the man some time.
