Wildcats Begin Preparation for MTSU

LEXINGTON, Ky. - The Kentucky football team began on-field game-plan preparations for Saturday's game vs. Middle Tennessee with a two-hour practice Tuesday morning at the Nutter Training Center.

After practice, Coach Rich Brooks was asked about how quarterbacks Mike Hartline and Randall Cobb handle their on-going competition.

"They get along fine and compete and help each other. That's the way it has to be," Brooks said. "We need them both and we're one injury away from only having one. We need to have them both ready to take snaps and now that (Will) Fidler's shoulder is not as big a problem, he's getting a few (practice repetitions) and he's going to be in the mix."

Re: Wildcats Begin Preparation for MTSU

I'm worried about this game..... Last year this team gave UofL fits before we beat the Cards..... this year we are not as strong and this team looks to be as strong or stronger than last year.
