| UK likes looks of 'ugly' game, 62-52 LEXINGTON, Ky. -- Ramel Bradley struck a blow, then struck a pose, letting his hand dangle in the air after a dagger of a three-point shot. The University of Kentucky point guard had scooped up a loose ball and drained a three-pointer as the shot clock expired midway though the second half of yesterday's game against Alabama, giving the Wildcats a six-point lead in what turned into a 62-52 win. "It just felt good," said Bradley, who scored 19 points in his return from a viral infection. "Once I knew it went in, I was just holding the pose for the photographers." It was a rare moment yesterday at Rupp Arena. A pretty moment. UK's fifth straight win was a defensive affair, a battering, bruising sort of game most of the way, until the Cats (12-9, 6-2 Southeastern Conference) pulled away late. It was sloppy -- the teams combined for 31 turnovers and 8-for-30 three-point shooting -- and choppy, largely devoid of offensive flow. In other words, it was just what the Cats were looking for.
