| UK's Jasper has sprained MCL Derrick Jasper, who left Kentucky's double-overtime win against Vanderbilt today, has a sprained medial collateral ligament in his left knee.
That's the same knee on which Jasper had microfracture surgery in the offseason, but this is not the same injury. Jasper is listed as day-to-day, UK spokesman Scott Stricklin said. His prognosis will depend on how the knee reacts to treatment.
Jasper was injured during a battle for a loose ball when he got tangled up with teammate Perry Stevenson. |
