Really. We're not kidding. Sure, in most years (in almost every year) October first means pulling out all those $7.99 pre-season basketball guides and starting to cram for Midnight Madness. The football team would be traditionally adrift in the backwater created by the conference speedboats. Headed for the rocks.

This year, the Cats rock. You may have heard. They are 5-0. Not only are they ranked but survived a scary Saturday in which to be ranked meant your chances of being upset roughly equaled Britney Spears' chances of creating a scene somewhere.
