| Three UK bowl rings reported stolen Lexington police are investigating two separate reports of thefts involving three University of Kentucky bowl rings. The rings were reported missing by one current UK player and one former player. Junior wide receiver Anthony Stewart reported his 2006 Music City Bowl championship ring was stolen between Sept. 21 and Sept. 23 from his home on Olympia Road, said Lexington police Sgt. Jody Stowers. Stowers said the other case involved a reported theft from former player Sylvester Miller's home on Kennesaw Drive. Miller told police the theft occurred between Sept. 17 and Sept. 19 and that his 1999 Music City Bowl ring and a ring commemorating the 2002 season were stolen. In 2002, the Wildcats went 7-5 but were ineligible for a bowl game because of probation. UK Coach Rich Brooks said after yesterday morning's practice that he was aware of the thefts. While Brooks expressed hope that the rings would be returned, he said the issue was a personal matter for the players involved and declined further comment. Anyone with information may call Crime Stoppers at (859) 253-2020 or Lexington Police detectives at (859) 258-3700. Three UK bowl rings reported stolen
