If variety is indeed the spice of life, the University of Kentucky defense will have plenty of seasoning by the time October rolls around.

Two weeks ago, the Wildcats had to deal with Kent State and its mad-scrambling quarterback, Julian Edelman.

Then came the big test against Brian Brohm and the potent Louisville aerial attack.

Now comes what UK Coach Rich Brooks and defensive coordinator Steve Brown both say is the biggest challenge to date in Arkansas and Heisman Trophy-candidate running back Darren McFadden.

"It's a never-ending battle," Brown said.

Did you see Kentucky against Louisville, though? Looks like of those three teams (UK, Bama and Arkansas) they clearly have the best offense. Should be an interesting game, but when all is said and done, I'm thinking the guy who emerges on Heisman lists isn't McFadde, but Andre Woodson!

Ky was impressive, but, they did muff up a couple of offensive plays at the beginnin in which they could have beaten the cards by more.

True, but as I have seen KY do so many times against good teams, it comes back to bite them in the ass. It damn near did against Louisville. Can't let opportunities like that go to waste.
