LEXINGTON, Ky. -- You can't miss Steve Johnson.

At 6 feet 3 and 198 pounds, and with his signature dyed dreadlocks -- lately sporting tips of green, yellow and red -- the University of Kentucky wide receiver stands out.

Lately, he stands out more than ever.

"The only thing that's different is my teammates embarrassing me in class," Johnson said yesterday. "Every time I step in, they start yelling out my name."

Easy as he is to spot on campus this week, Johnson somehow slipped past University of Louisville defenders last Saturday, breaking past the Cardinals' coverage to catch the winning touchdown pass in UK's 40-34 upset win at Commonwealth Stadium.

Since then, he's been a local celebrity.

When Johnson went to visit his aunt and uncle at a local hotel on Saturday night he was swarmed with autograph seekers, he said.
