Some coaches put tight wrap on injury news

It's Cards-Cats week. Do you know how your injured players are?

Observant University of Kentucky football fans are probably as familiar with the team's medical history as its two-deep chart. University of Louisville fans have to wait until kickoff to find out which Cardinals won't suit up for Saturday's game at Commonwealth Stadium.
The rivalry illustrates two distinctly different approaches to reporting injury information. UK coach Rich Brooks gives constant updates on his players' status, all but hanging up X-rays at his news conferences. U of L coach Steve Kragthorpe, on the other hand, prefers to cloak his team's injuries in secrecy.

Kragthorpe said he thinks his policy creates a competitive advantage for the Cardinals, but Brooks said it should have no effect on the game.
