| Lumpkin out, Pryor uncertain for Saturday University of Kentucky defensive tackle Ricky Lumpkin, who has a hip injury, will miss "a significant amount of time," coach Rich Brooks said yesterday. Lumpkin aggravated his hip in Saturday's victory against Kent State, Brooks said. Lumpkin will not require immediate surgery, but Brooks said surgery might eventually be required. Lumpkin might not be the only UK tackle unavailable Saturday when the Wildcats host the University of Louisville at 7:30 p.m. in Commonwealth Stadium. An MRI exam of Myron Pryor revealed a "significant strain" but no tear in a pectoral muscle, Brooks said. Pryor is questionable to doubtful for the U of L game, Brooks said. "You know you're going to have missing pieces," Brooks said. "You're going to have guys you have to fill in and replace. The disheartening thing is, both those guys are at the same position." Pryor was suspended for UK's first game, but he started against Kent State last week. Corey Peters has started the first two games at the other defensive tackle. If Pryor can't play, Ventrell Jenkins likely would start in his place, Brooks said. Lumpkin out, Pryor uncertain for Saturday
