| Coach says redirect boos Two games, two wins, two times booed by the home fans. That's how coach Steve Kragthorpe has begun his University of Louisville tenure. The crowd at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium booed in the first game when Kragthorpe didn't go for more points late in the 73-10 victory, and they booed the defense in last week's 58-42 win over Middle Tennessee State. "It's fine if they want to boo me because that's something that might transpire," Kragthorpe said Monday. "But it does bother me when they do it with the players because those guys are playing hard and trying to be successful out there and they're not professional athletes. "That's the nature of life, and our players have to understand that. If you want people to cheer you, you have to accept it when they boo you because it's typically the same people. That's fine. I mean people pay money to come see us play and they buy tickets, and if they want to boo me that's fine. I just don't particularly like it when they boo the players." Coach says redirect boos
