Re: Kentucky Wildcats / Louisville Cardinals

I have never heard the the card fans stay so low key before a game, like I have this year. There has been very little trash talk. I told some of them that if they don't play well, the cats will take them down. They actually agreed. Of course, I would love for the cats to take them down.

If the Louisville team echoes that "we better be careful" mentality, that doesn't bode well for Kentucky.

Very true.... when it comes to ffotball UK is not well known for that, but we still root for'em. I think it still could be a good game no matter what.

Both teams have great QBs, that's for sure. Everyone knows Brohm, but Andre Woodson is a very good one in his own right.

Interesting stat for you here, courtesy of Rivals.com:
"Kentucky has gained more than 200 rushing yards and 200 passing yards in each of its first two games."

Yeah they've been on a tear. What I'm waitin to see is how the defenses work. If the defenses don't show up as expected, then it will be interestin to see which QB will dissect the other team the better. Woodson has ben very good at this. Unfortunately so has Brohm. Kragthorpe from what I have seen has been all over his guys this week. Not that I blame him.... I wouldn't want to lose to the in-state rival my first year as head coach.

Glad to see you guys still have something left in you... way to go hold your SEC membership up proudly in the air. You are a part of the toughest conference there is. Congratulations.

Re: Kentucky Wildcats / Louisville Cardinals

It was drivin me nuts. KY is good, but they still have alot of work to do. They blew two of the first three oppurtunities and got field goals instead of TD's. I told my wife and her family(all card fans) that KY was screwin up and it would come back and bite them in the A$$. It nearly did. The last play gave me goosebumps as flashbacks of the LSU game started. Still, Woodson shined, as did Brohm who just about pulled it out.

Re: Kentucky Wildcats / Louisville Cardinals

Kentucky's first win against a Top 10 team in three decades. Amazing.

According to the Associated Press, "Andre Woodson threw a 57-yard touchdown pass to Steve Johnson with 28 seconds left and Kentucky shocked No. 9 Louisville 40-34 Saturday night... Woodson completed 30 of 44 passes for 275 yards and four TDs as he beat Brian Brohm, a rival dating to high school, for the first time."

Re: Kentucky Wildcats / Louisville Cardinals

I was watchin it. Louisville made some key mistakes. The last one was lettin a receiver get down ahead of them and Woodson burnt'em.
