| Kentucky wildcats' Brooks doesn't have the Cards on his mind LEXINGTON, Ky. -- Rich Brooks insists he isn't worried that his University of Kentucky football team could spend this week looking ahead to the Sept. 15 game against the University of Louisville. At his weekly news conference yesterday, Brooks sounded as if he'd prefer everyone else stop worrying, too. "I want to try to say this nicely, but everybody keeps bringing up Louisville," Brooks said. "They brought it up before we played the opener. Some of you all (in the media), more than a lot of other people, are upset that Louisville wasn't our opener. Whatever that means, we're not playing Louisville, we're not worried about Louisville and I'm not worried about my players looking ahead to Louisville." Rather, Brooks said, he's worried about Kent State, which comes to Commonwealth Stadium at 6 p.m. Saturday riding high off an upset win at Iowa State on Thursday. It's Kent State's physical offensive line and dual-threat quarterback, Brooks said, that should have his team's attention this week. Brooks said those factors -- and not the potentially dangerous placement of the game between opening night and the U of L game -- make Kent State a more dangerous foe than Football Championship Subdivision (formerly I-AA) team Eastern Kentucky, which UK hammered 50-10 on Saturday. No, Brooks doesn't have the Cards on his mind
