| In reality, Cats already were playing Cards LEXINGTON, Ky. — The schedule didn't fool me. Neither did all this chatter about a new and improved way of igniting the football season during Week 3 in the Bluegrass. The University of Kentucky Wildcats weren't playing Eastern Kentucky University last night in Commonwealth Stadium. They once again were playing their season opener against the University of Louisville. The Wildcats are always playing the Cardinals, even when they're beating Eastern 50-10. That's the way it will remain until the Cats end their losing streak against U of L, which currently stands at four games and 1,827 days. They're locked in a perpetual game of whatever you can do, I can do faster, grander, better -- in front of more people, with better facilities, more luxury boxes and more prime-time opponents.
