It took a little tinkering, but Maurice Grinter has finally settled into one position at the University of Kentucky.
Grinter was labeled as an "athlete" after playing running back, quarterback, wide receiver and defensive back at Fairdale High.
After enrolling at UK in 2006, he first auditioned at safety. But at 6-foot-3, 250 pounds, even someone with Grinter's athletic ability had trouble making the adjustment.
He was then moved to linebacker, but he struggled with the intricacies of the position.
