That can be true, if he had pure, good state talent wanting to go to Kentucky in the first place. See the last five years when college bluegrass basketball is down so was high school, no big recruits coming out of Kentucky. And now not many great highschool players, especially the all-americans, want to go Kentucky when compared to a likes of duke, UNC now even Florida, UCLA is back after the The Lavin years (aka the Dark ages... lol just kidding) GU JT3 is making big things happen. This program can come back to that point of prominice, but the pressure Kentucky will always give, and the lack of talent that wants to go to Kentucky anymore, which im thinking one or two all-americans is still having Kentucky on thier interest list, will make Gillespie to get this team up in about 4-5 years time. And if wants to recruit big now? Take the JUCO route and get the best from there.
