LAWRENCE, Kan. – For the second straight year the Kansas football team will enter the season ranked in the Associated Press preseason poll. The Jayhawks were listed 25th in the first poll of the year, which was released on Saturday.


Last year KU started the season ranked 14th by the AP. Prior to that, the last time KU was listed in the preseason poll was 1996 when the Jayhawks entered the year 25th.


This season marks the seventh time the Jayhawks will enter a year ranked in the top 25. Other AP preseason poll listings for KU include 17th in 1952, 8th in 1961, 12th in 1968 and 19th in 1976.

They all rely on Todd to bring them a championship but knowing Kansas they will probably be to stupid to realize one player is only one player and one player can only do the work load of one player they still have OU, Texas, Nebraska, and even Missouri will surprise them on will just have to wait and see wont we.
