| Re: Runelvys Hernandez outpitched Roy Halladay The thread title is the first five words of this Sports Network recap. First thing that popped into my head? "Who the bleep is Runelvys Hernandez?" According to this, "Hernandez [4-8] was stellar in the win, holding Toronto to seven hits while striking out four and walking one in his first career complete-game shutout." So is this kid Hernandez a rookie? A rising star? Any Royals fans out there got the story on this Kansas City hurler?

| Re: Runelvys Hernandez outpitched Roy Halladay I am not a Royals fan at all, but I scooped up some information and numbers about this Runelvys Hernandez. You don't have to thank me, because this is part of my job here as the MLB Moderater. THE FILES Acquired:97-Signed as nondrafted free agent by the Kansas City Royals. Debut:2002 w/ Royals Scouting Report: Assets--Doesn't get rattled with runners aboard, nor in tight spots. When he's on, he has great command. Flaws--Left-handed hitters don't find him too tough and he's got to work on his stamina. Career potential--Can be a strong mid-rotation starter. |
