I'm stunned by how good the KC Royals starting pitching has been this season.
According to Yahoo! Sports, "The Royals had won five straight and seven of 10 entering Friday night on the strength of their starting pitching... The rotation compiled a 1.91 earned run average and held the opponents to a .216 batting average in the winning streak. The starters had a 2.27 ERA and held opponents to a .217 average in the 10 games. The Royals logged nine quality starts in the previous 10 games." They lost yesterday, but still, did anyone expect their pitching to be as good as it has been in 2008?
