ESPN (grain of salt please ), reports the KC Royals have come to a verbal agreement with free-agent outfielder Jose Guillen on a deal. The proposed deal is for three-years and $36 million.

The deal will be finalized after a physical today. Last year with the Mariners, Guillen hit .290 with 23 HRs and 99 RBIs.
