The Kansas City Royals sent starting pitcher Danny Christensen to the Detroit Tigers this week, finalizing a trade that occurred earlier this year. During the 2007 season, Detroit traded Roman Colon to Kansas City for a player to be named later.

Christensen has been named. According to the Canadian Press, "Christensen, a 24-year-old lefty, was 2-15 with a 6.21 ERA in 27 games for double-A Wichita."

Not exactly flattering numbers but any team will take a young lefty.
