| Royals avoid 100 loss season With yesterday's 6-3 win over the Minnesota Twins, the Kansas City Royals ensured themselves that they would lose fewer than 100 games this season, making in the first time in four years that they will only have double-digit losses. "I never thought that this team would lose 100," skipper Buddy Bell told reporters after the game. "I don't really think it's that big of a deal.
