Mark Teahen to DL
According to the Associated Press, "Royals outfielder Mark Teahen was placed on the 15-day disabled list Friday, the most significant of several moves made by the club... Teahen has a hyperextended left elbow and forearm strain he sustained while attempting to make a diving catch Aug. 18 at Oakland. The move to the DL is retroactive to Aug. 19." Replacing him on the roster is P Billy Bucker. Any relation?

Royals place Teahen on disabled list, call up rookie Buckner - MLB - Yahoo! Sports
