A Royal Flush

This team should be contracted! What do they do with the money they get from team's like the Yankees and Red Sox, put it in their pocket? I just watched them play the Yankees and trot out pitchers that couldn't start for most AA teams. If you cannot survive in a business, you go bankrupt and that's what should happen to this mess.

Re: A Royal Flush

Unfortunately, there are some good young talent dragged into the "mess". I feel really sorry for Graffanino, DeJesus, and Sweeney who are really talented. Then you have Mark Grudzielanek and Reggie Sanders who are also very good players.

Re: A Royal Flush

It really is too bad. I remember the days when the Royals were a class team with stars like George Brett, Hal McRae,Amos Otis and others. They have sure fallen on hard times for a long time now. Too bad for the fans of Kansas City because they used to really show up to support that team.

Cool Re: A Royal Flush

Look...the only remedy is to punish them and relegated them to AAA, and promoting a AAA up to their spot..works in European Soccer...

Cool Re: A Royal Flush

Agreed desertrat. This was once an excellent franchise. They had some classic battles with the Yankees in the 70's. Remember 5'4" Freddie Patek? They also had classic players like: Al Cowens, John Mayberry, Cookie Rojas, Dennis Leonard, Paul Splitorff, Frank White, and Dan Quisenberry. KC is the poster boy for what's wrong in MLB.
