Royals send down Luke Hochevar

Hochevar, a 23-year-old right-handed pitcher, was the #1 overall pick in last year's MLB draft. Word is he could still wins up in the Kansas City rotation, but he won't start the season with the Royals. What kind of prospect is this kid? Will he be a good major league hurler?

Re: Royals send down Luke Hochevar

I have not seen him play. Is he that far along already that he could come up this season?

I don't think it's so much about the kid as much as it's the fact Kansas City will again be the worst team in the game and their rotation will be led by Gil Meche for goodness sake. That's all that needs to be said. lol
