Ha ha! This is a hilarious look at the predominantly apathetic Kansas City Royals baseball fans, written by Adam Cote of East Bay Newspapers. "For all the perceived foibles and faults, we northeast baseball fans (Yankee, Mets and Red Sox fans alike) carry across the country — you know, the booing, our incessant need for talk radio information and speculation, not to mention the roller coaster of overblown emotion we feel as fans and subject our teams to," Cote writes, "those idiosyncrasies are miniscule in comparison to the lack of excitment, interest and life I felt at Kaufman Stadium."
Cote claims that the only thing that got the crowd interested was the condiment race. It can't really be that bad in the stands of a Royals game... can it?
