One minor fact overlooked in Friday’s termination of Chiefs head coach Herm Edwards is that Edwards doesn’t plan to work as a defensive coordinator.
According to Jay Glazer of FOXSports.com, Edwards said that he’s going to choose between taking time off, working in television, and working as a defensive backs coach.

As a Giants fan I hardly watched him as a Jets coach. When i did, I wasn't to impressed. He didn't have great offensive football skills, such as knowing when to call a timeout, when to run the ball, mainly clock management stuff. Anyway, I think he could be a good defensive coordinator however.

I always wondered if it was just me but when I listened to Herm's talks with the media I always found myself going, "HUH "
I mean, did the guy ever make any sense?
