| Chiefs fire Edwards Espn is reporting that the Kansas City Chiefs have fired Herm Edwards. Other reports say that they are close to signing a deal with Mike Shanahan for Head Coach.      |

| Re: Chiefs fire Edwards Very very interesting, while Shanahan needed to go from Denver he would be a great coach for this KC, he is great with young QBs, Cutler and Elway, he could make something good out of Tyler Thigpen or Mark Sanchez if they go ahead and pick him, plus they have a lot of youg O-Line talent. Not to mention it's like the perfect cue against Denver
