KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Pro Bowl cornerback Ty Law agreed to a five-year deal with the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.

Law will rejoin Herman Edwards, who coached him with the New York Jets last year, when the veteran came back from a severe foot injury and led the NFL with 10 interceptions. Chiefs spokesman Bob Moore said Law will take his physical Monday.

About time. How long has this been rumored? Instant upgrade to the Chiefs secondary.

Cool Re: Ty Law reunites with Edwards in Kansas City

Great move by KC. Ty Law is probably the best cornerback I've ever seen play. THe man is an interception machine.

Re: Ty Law reunites with Edwards in Kansas City

Law gets the picks but he's not the complete CB he once was. In NY, Edwards was criticized by players for his lackadaisical (sp?) treatment of Law who he supposedly let get away with some stuff.

Still, a great pick up for the Chiefs to instant improve the secondary so I guess that's the key.
