Dee Brown certainly seems to think so: "I will be Larry Johnson’s backup," he told reporters yesterday. "I will be Larry Johnson’s backup... I’m ready, and you can capitalize that in bold print." Who can argue? With Priest Holmes on the shelf indefinitely, it certainly looks as though the #2 job is the 5-10, 210 pound, 28-year-old Brown's to lose. Does this kid have what it takes?
