KANSAS CITY/MOJO(AM730) - Former B.C. Lion quarterback Casey Printer’s has been hard at work with the NFL’s Kansas City Chiefs.
MOJO talked to the Chiefs quarterback coach Terry Shea, who has been working with Casey for the past four weeks, and says he’s very impressed with Casey. “His [Printers] demanour and how he approaches the position of quarterback has been just outstanding,” Shea said. “There’s a standard that he operates by and I’m not sure where he’s learned this over his past but he brings that standard to every meeting.”
Shea told MOJO that Printer’s will be successful in the NFL, especially in the Chiefs system. “Casey is going to have the benefit of coming into a proven system, number one in the NFL last year in total offense, here at the Chiefs,” said Shea. “He has that advantage of coming in and not having to play right away and I think in a couple of years Casey will prove he has the ability to compete for the starting job.” Shea is familiar with Vancouver, spending time as the QB and running backs coach for the Lions in 1995.
