Chiefs coach Herm Edwards said Tuesday that running back Larry Johnson, sidelined the past six games with a foot injury, might get on the field this week at Detroit. Johnson has been slowly doing more and more and could actually go through a full practice this week. "We're going to try to limit him some and see what he can do in practice, see where he's at," Edwards said.

What is KC trying to prove. If I owned the Chiefs, I would shut LJ down and not risk any further injury.

I wouldn't even let him on the sidelines in case of an out of bounds tackle hitting him. They are going to need him next season.

You have to shut him down...and no pro really does all that great after a season with 400 carries...and Johnson proved it....that is too many touches for a top back.

Yep, I agree with everyone else here. Shut him down for the season. There's no point in bringing him back at this point.
