After first referring to it a simple ankle sprain, the Chiefs are now calling the injury Larry Johnson suffered in Week 9 a mid-foot sprain. The team expects to know the injury's exact extent on Tuesday.
"They're running some more tests," coach Herm Edwards said late Monday. "He came in to get treatment, but they took an MRI and they're still studying it." Foot sprains can be multiple-week injuries, but this diagnosis would be better than a break. Priest Holmes is likely to start in Week 10 vs. Denver.
