| Larry Johnson rips playcalling Chiefs RB Larry Johnson ripped his teams playcalling during interviews yesterday. "I learned a long time ago about coaches. They're always going to do what they want to do. It's usually an ego thing rather than trying to be better or trying to get better or trying to listen to input," he told reporters. "It's just hard to change a coach's perspective or change an offensive coordinator's plays when this is what they've been used to doing ever since they came into the league." "Football is easy... It's not a chess game. It's checkers. When they're looking for the run, you pass. When they're looking for the pass, you run. When they put nine in the box, you pass. When they overload one side, you run to the other side." Big talk from a guy who averaged 1.8 yards per carry against the Vikings on Sunday. Oh, and never mind the fact that KANSAS CITY WON! After winning huge contract, Larry Johnson can't get going for KC - NFL - Yahoo! Sports

| Re: Larry Johnson rips playcalling Johnson is right though. Edwards is infamous for this. He wants to win with defense and special teams, which is what got him in trouble in New York. Hiring him is the equivalent of going to Vegas with an anti-gambling group, and wondering why they just sit in the lobby of the casinos.

| Re: Larry Johnson rips playcalling Herm is a moron. When LJ and Damon started to get mad at the coaches and they finally decided to open the playbook we scored a TD. Herm wants to get a saftey with the deffense and win the game 2-0. Open up the offense Herm, are deffense is actually playing very well, we just need to put some points on the board. |
