Chiefs play-by-play announcer Mitch Holthus is determined to make his "centaur" nickname for Larry Johnson stick. At the luncheon, Holthus introduced LJ as "the Centaur." -- KC Star

I don't know...Larry Centaur Johnson doesn't mesh well. Marketable it is not lol.

A Centaur's half-man, half-horse, right? I guess I can see it (considering how many carries this workhorse of a back gets), but Empire's right. The knickname isn't catchy. It has no sizzle. So let's come up with our own alternative. Hmm... how about "The Plowhorse"?
