Larry Johnson to get fewer carries

Kansas City Chiefs head coach Herm Edwards is telling reporters that he plans to use RB Larry Johnson less next season. However, as Rotowire.com points out, "Keep in mind that Edwards said similar things last offseason and proceeded to hand the ball to Johnson an NFL-record 416 times. Michael Bennett will probably see a few more carries that last season, but Johnson will still be Kansas City’s workhouse. However, after the wear-and-tear of 416 carries, Johnson is a potential injury risk heading into 2007."
