Priest Holmes

He was one of my favorites. Larry Johnson took over and then became the impact player on the team.

I like priest Holmes because of all the great games he has had. Who here likes Priest Holmes?

Cool Re: Priest Holmes

Holmes was a great runner but unfortunately, injuries have brought his career to a halt.

Re: Priest Holmes

Priest Holmes will always go down as one of those "what if" guys in my book. He spent at least a handful of years buried on the Baltimore (and possibly Cleveland, I can't recall offhand if he was on the team prior to the move) roster. What if he had gone to a team like the Chiefs, or to play with a coach like Vermiel, earlier in his career. What kind of numbers could he have put up? Sadly, we'll never know.

Re: Priest Holmes

At one time Priest was the man a freakin touchdown scoreing machine. I hated to see him get hurt. He will always be a stud in my book. We are lucky to have a guy like Johnson to come in and the rushing game didnt miss a beat.
