After a couple of days of saying otherwise, the Kansas City Chiefs have finally suspended running back Larry Johnson. According to Kent Babb of the
Kansas City Star, the team will be imposing a two-week suspension on Johnson for conduct detrimental to the team. Since the Chiefs are on their bye this week, Johnson may only miss one game, but the suspension will cost him two game checks, which is roughly worth $660,000. This week, Johnson insulted head coach Todd Haley and used a homophobic epithet on Twitter and toward some KC sports writers. Johnson's agent said Wednesday that they will be challenging the suspension.
