The
Jacksonville Jaguars continue to look for ways to limit the pinball-machine offense from Indy.
The latest acquisition? Veteran safety Pierson Prioleau, signed presumably to a one-year deal.
The 30-year-old from Virginia Tech has extensive experience with Jags defensive coordinator Gregg Williams in Washington (where Williams ran the defense) and Buffalo (where Williams ran the team).
Prioleau started every game for the Bills in 2002. He was poised to be a starter for the Redskins across from the late Sean Taylor in 2006, but Prioleau tore an ACL on the opening kickoff of the Week One Monday nighter against the Vikings.
For his career, Prioleau has appeared in 113 games, starting 47 of them.
